Grand Rapids Urban Forest Project
Our client had an ambitious plan to crowd-source data gathering about the city’s forest, build awareness of the benefits of a healthy tree canopy, and get citizens more engaged with our trees. Plenty created a website that would invite the public to get involved and make it easy to participate in gathering the data. We created a user interface design for the online TreeMap, making it simple for any citizen to search for, identify, and help map local trees. We also designed a custom tree identification key PDF and tree tags, then created promotional material and signage to build awareness of the initiative.
